Bolt action yes only load 7 rounds if it has a 10 round mag. As far as NYC goes I don't know city laws are strange. I am sure like I did, people will look at the rifles outline and style and make judgment mistakes and confuse it with an ar15 style weapon

Very sorry my mistake I didn't enlarging the picture . Yes the Savage BA ( BA for bolt action I am so stupid for not seeing that sorry) is Safe Act legal it is a bolt action weapon. The act really only effects firearms that can be considered semi auto assault weapons just don.t load a 10 round mag with more then 7 rounds and have some some fun. Sorry for the confusion on my part
