Remember a time when we were allowed to have 30 round mags made before September 94'??? Are those illegal or grandfathered under NY (un)SAFE act???
It's ok, those were AK mags ;-)^^^ my stomach just turned :unhappy:
Yes. All magazines with a capacity over 10 rounds are illegal regardless of date of possession or manufacture. The only way to legally keep them if the law is not overturned is to permanently fix them to accept no more than 7 rounds.illegal for mags over 10 and only can use 7 rounds in the 10 mags. If over 50 years old and a relic, legal but must register both rifle and mag.
I know and when you think about that, isn't that one of the things about the law that gets you really angry? So we can shoot targets with 10 rounds, no danger of any nut job turning on his fellow range users right? But we can only use 7 rounds - even for home defense? So more at the range than to save your wife and kids? Insane. I still cannot believe Skelos voted for this!If your at the range you can actually load 10 round in your 10 round mags. Just not to protect yourself or family!!!
That's disgusting. I needed to avert my eyes.Turn in your old mags so they can be used as paving material
