I've been waiting 15 month for my pistol permit and still nothing can someone give me the number to the officer that handles the process. I live in the city of rochester

If you go to the county clerk website there is a number for pistol permit info. They returned my call in one day. Call to check the status of your app thats way too long to wait.

Wow 15 months? Even in Onondaga I just got mine after 2 and a half months.

down here in Westchester county, its about 6 or 7 months.

I had luck stopping in during my lunch break when the timeframe was getting out of reach.

Sometimes the phone isn't the best option and after 15 months I'd have to make time to go in person. Even Erie county doesn't take nearly that long, I feel for ya.

Today is the 10 week mark for me. Looks like the 5 month wait for Wayne is holding true to form, had hope it would be shorter. Sort of like Christmas after you find there is no Santa. Your parents (the judge) knows what you want, but can they find, afford or want you to have what you want...or in this case will the jolly ole judge give you the full carry, no restriction permit, or the lump of coal restricted one??? Hey....you have to make yourself laugh so you will not go insane...\:jester:

Got a callback from the clerks office and they told me that my paper work is just waiting for the judge to approve it
