Do any of you use the vintage rifles for club shoots or NRA shoots? If so, which ones? I use mainly a Mossberg 144LSB and a Mossberg M46b.

I shoot a 1930 Winchester 52 Pre A that was rebarreled by Arthur Hublek in a rimfire leauge at Pinetree Rifle Club in Johnstown I also have a Savage model 19NRA with peepsights
Ahhhh..... the Savage 19 ... nice!!! The Savage 19 NRA has eluded me thus far for the collection.
No sure if these qualify as vintage but I have a Stevens model 15 single shot that I taught my kids on that still shoots great and I also have a Marlin model 780. First of the microgroove rifles I think.
Chicken Shoot which Clubs do you shoot at ? I'm a member of Sara Spa since 05 and Pinetree as of last summer!
Hmmm, sorry. Guess the Stevens wouldn't be considered a target gun now would it.
Any rifle you can teach kids with is a good one!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you can shoot it at a target ... it's a target gun!! LOL I have an old Stevens single shot and it's a little tack driver. I do shoot it alot and it's my backup gun for the 50yd scoped class. :)

I shoot at Stillwater Rod & Gun Club, Fish Creek Rod & Gun Club and I'm going to start looking into more serious competitions. I have participated in larger competitions years ago and I'm looking to get back into it. I'd love to get into Sara Spa but last I knew they were not accepting new members.

Agreed!! The Stevens mod.15 is a single shot bolt gun and it is an excellent shooting gun. Actually, when I want to concentrate on my shooting form, it's a great little gun to practice with.
