Anyone vacuum sealing ammo? I have ammo for calibers I don't have just because, well you know.

Anyone else doing this?
If you want to get creative you can seal up an AR and stash it in random locations.

I use desiccant in ammo cans or dollar store paint cans. But if I had the option to use vacuum I would use it too.

I tried to vac. seal some .223 reloads anad the bag never seems to hold.I tried bags from foodsaver and cabelas with the same result.

I wonder how much longer ammo will keep in a vac seal.

I would imagine almost foreve,But in my case till the bags get a hole in them and that dont take too long

have over 1k rnds of 223,45acp,357,7mm-08,7mmtcu,17 remington,22lr,17hmr,22mag
so I am not hurting for ammo,the space bags on tv work great. I have a good stash of brass,primers,powders
