Two armed robbers shot by homeowner get five years in prison - City & Region - The Buffalo News

"Two armed robbers shot by a man whose son they had just held up while the man and his two sons were washing their car in their driveway last summer in Buffalo's University District were sentenced Thursday to five years in prison."

"Both defendants apologized to the Hunt family and said they are trying to turn their lives around."

Let's see, where have I heard that before?

"The judge noted that both Byrd and Moore had pleaded guilty in a prior robbery, but both had received youthful offender status because of their ages at the time, and as a result, do not have a felony record.

Despite getting that break, he said, they continued to commit robberies."

Oh yeah, that's where. Once a scumbag, always a scumbag.

Birds of a feather flock together, a piece of **** is a piece of ****!. It's the same senario, they get caught doing a crime, get convicted and sent home with very little punishment for the crime they commited and release early to go and re-offend shortly afterwards. As they build up their rap sheet they start to feel invincible and know they won't suffer any long time jail stays because the jails are to full to keep their little piece of **** ass.

This justice system is broken and needs to be completly overhauled. It shouldn't cost $36'000 to house a pice of **** in a closed facility.
