I tumble brass before i deprime. The depriming pin will clear the flash hole when it does its business.

I don't like the idea of running dirty cases through the resize / deprime die.

I do that with pistol cases but with rifle I tumble to clean off the lube which obviously is used to deprime/size. So i'm using a dental pick to pick media out of every flash hole before priming it.

Deprime it and tumble it. Or shoot it then deprime and tumble it.

For rifle brass, I tumble, lube, deprime/resize, tumble again, trim, prime, powder, then bullet. I'll check the flash hole and primer pocket when I trim.

I didn't prime it, I bought some brass off some guys and about 100 pieces of it came primed, and very, very dirty. I don't know why he did it.

deprime it. wear glasses but you shouldnt set them off

For the 3-4 bucks it will coast you for new primers i would agree deprime throw the old ones out.

+1 the media will get caught up in the flash hole and that is bad ju ju..... Just deprime, clean and then reprime.....
