Does anyone or has anyone hunted in Tug Hill WMA. I am interested in getting away for a few days for the early muzzleloader season. I know deer density is low, that's ok, just looking for for an excuse to get away. I am looking for info on pressure during the early season etc. Any advice would be helpful!

Thanks!!!

I've been going up on Tug Hill since I was a little kid. My dad started up there back in the 1930s. If you enter from Houseville on Carpenter Rd., you can drive back in on the old G&W Railroad bed. Here is a link to a map of the area. Hunting is permitted on the East Branch Fish Creek section and also the Page Pond compartment section. We used to have a camp back towards Fish Creek on what is labeled International Road on this map.
