I own a Kimber pro carry II and I left the Army a year ago. I was in when the change from BDU to ACU happened. I was thinking about getting it sprayed a fade from BDU pattern to ACU pattern. Then having some custom grips made to have the Army crest and the unit I deployed with. Looking for some opinions, places that could do this and this is my carry weapon how will the paint hold up? I carry in full leather holster.

Look at tarjac they might be able to do what you want they do dipping and the located in upstate ny.

I think it sounds cool. Not sure how it would hold up but if its your carry piece I would try to leave it in the holster as much as possible so you dont wear it off from un holstering and re holstering all the time.
