the more I like it! Squeezed in a quick 7 shots at 8 yards this morning before I had to leave the range.

Sweet. What gun is that, Kimber? Can't see any details on my phone but it looks very nice. Good luck with it.

Ruger.
Ruger SR1911.

So very jealous. I've been wanting one forever now. I keep hoping supply finally catches up with demand. No luck yet on finding one conveniently at a not horrible price. I am willing to wait. Love the gun :)
Sweet gun. I absolutely love mine.
im thinking my next handgun purchase is going to be a 1911 and will deffantly give the SR1911 if i can find one. the price of .45 is so expensive though its going to suck buying ammo.

That's why I don't have a .45 yet.
Thanks guys! It is a sweet gun. Before I had a 1911 I could never understand all of the hype the 1911 fanboys post on the internet. Now I understand! No more tupperware for me... haha

Can't go wrong with the combination of features and price point on the SR1911. My favorite part you can see in my picture above laser engaved into the slide right below RUGER. As far as ammo- Walmart 100 rd box Federal for $29.
single action guns can be fun and amazing tools if done right. You have lived until you have held a 100% custom 6" 2011 limited gun.
Love my SR1911. Nothing beats an all metal piece of history handgun.

i officially hate all of you that own one
The best investments I have made are my Kimber Tactical and Kimber Eclipse custom shop. With a .22 conversion kit the ammo cost is just fine. I do enjoy shooting them with the .45, but alot cheaper with the .22.
If they ever come out with the SR1911 in 10mm I will have two!
That is a great looking gun.
I finally had a chance to shoot a 1911 (a Springfield, and not as pretty as your Ruger) for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Also this was the first time shooting .45, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I can say that after shooting it, a 1911 has definitely moved up on the list of pistols that I plan purchase.
that's why i reload .45 acp.
ftfy. :)
My dying wish may just be that Gunner posts a similar thread for three consecutive numbered AST ARs, lol
The only problem is these guns are not manufactured with sequential numbers. So it means nothing, nada, zilch, zero. Just like the number of bids in that auction.
