So, for the summer I decided to stay with a caliber that I already have, the 9mm vs. the .380 - Here is some information from the web sight on the Taurus 709SS.

I had it out to the range on several occasions with 350 rounds through it. I had 200 rounds of FMJ (Winchester White Box, Remington and Blazer Brass) and 150 rounds of Hollow Points (Gold Dot, Remington and Hornady). The pistols ran flawlessly with no issues at all. So far, very impresses with the 709.

Update - I hit the 500 round mark last weekend. Every round and been flawless. The trigger does take time to get used to, it has a long trigger pull with the break close to the back. Carrying (IWB) is fantastic, its light and conceals extremely easily. Downfall, 7 +1 rounds.
