Recently finished Tapco stock and gas tube mods to my sons SKS. Had to carefully relieve the lug on the Tapco gas tube/handguard a bit so that the latch could be closed. Now after two or three rounds the latch pops up out of position. Has anyone else ran into this problem after fitting Tapco handguard/gas tube assy. Latch still needs considerable effort to latch and unlatch for disassembly of handguard and piston.
