Looking into purchasing a new 12ga for the hunting season and the supernova and remington 887 look promising. Anyone have any experience with them? Looking for an all-around small game, waterfowl, turkey, deer shotgun. Some mixed reviews on the 887 online but I thought I would ask the NYfirearms community for their opinion on both.

Sounds like you need something with a bird barrel and slug barrel. I don't know what your budget is, but a slug barrel for a Supernova will run you between $400-$450 and the 887 slug barrel runs around $200. So, if you're on a budget, the 887 is the way to go.

If you haven't considered an 870 or Mossberg 500, I wouldn't look past them. You could get the gun with both barrels for less than half of what you'd pay to the 887.
