Brown marmorated stink bug - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I have seen maybe 1 or 2 a year in the past, but this year there have been hundreds in and around my house. Has anyone else noticed this in the past few months?

I never really noticed or remember seeing a stink bug until 2009/2010. We've seen a decent amount of them in our house in Solvay ever since then. Luckily, they're slow and easy to grab with a tissue (and flush)

I think they are moving up from NYC.

I do nuisance wildlife work. But my company also does pest control and had a lot of calls about them this year. I think it's from the warm winter last year.

I've certainly noticed it. My porch is constantly covered by them, and it's impossible to keep them all out of the house.

I've lived in almost every part of NY and I've had run-ins no matter which part I've lived in. Except for their strange smell, they're harmless.

I've been seeing a lot of Boxelder Bugs around my place. they look better than the Stink bugs, but still reek when crushed.

interestingly, as far as i can tell there are few, if any, Maple trees around. Wonder what they are feeding on?

Ive killed at least a thousand of them at my house this year. I have to spray pesticide every 2 weeks it seems like this summer. They are 20x worse this year than they were last year.

For being named stink bugs, I really haven't smelled them at all, but they are EVERYWHERE this year in Orange county.

Live in Orange Co work in Rockland see them all over the place, they make a mess when I kill them ,

interestingly, as far as i can tell there are few, if any, Maple trees around. Wonder what they are feeding on?

They are getting ridiculous out my way,I always find them sun bathing on my garage doors.
