I had some Duracoat laying around from an old project and decided to have some fun. I picked up a Saiga 7.62 from a LGS and did a full conversion (full 922r with feed ramp mod) and Duracoated just about everything. I even matched my Hawk with it. What a fun rifle to work with.

I don't always paint guns, but when I do they are Saigas... :)

Thanks guys.

Nice job. I like the two tone better than a solid color. I'm guessing it's FDE or DT.
The two tone was an after thought but I liked it.

gun looks sweet man. what is the story on the hatchet( sorry not sure what to call it exactly:wacko:)
The Hawk (Tomahawk) is a cold steel hawk. I did the hickory with a torch and some clear coats added the paracord for grip and the head was done in the same Duracoat. Fun little toys. My 12 year old daughter can nail the target every time.

Awesome work man, looks really good. Im about to do this with a WASR 10 I got. Ordered an FDE extended hand guard from midwest industries. got the tapco stock, hogue grips and rail covers as well. How does the receiver turn out when duracoated? i was considering duracoating my whole gun except the barrel and trigger assembly...
