I don't see an 8 3/8 barrel listed on Smiths site. Does anyone know if the make that gun in 8 3/8"?

Yeah I only see the 7.5" on their site, out of the Performance Center. They've made them in the past, they seem to cycle things in and out over time. I'd see if you could find a nice used one, or just wait till they start making them again.

I am one that doesn't like to wait. I will have to go to their site to see the difference in price between the 6.5 and the 7.5.


Damn, that performance model is Fugly. I'll stick with the full underlug 629 in 6.5"

They do not make the 629 in the 8 3/8" barrel anymore. If you want a long barrel you will have to go with a PC. Here is my P&R 629:
