So, from what I hear on this, the victim of a robbery had a legally registered handgun and fired multiple rounds at the suspect, who then fled in a vehicle. The robbery suspect crashed the vehicle and fled on foot. He was later located and found to have been shot. The suspect was charged accordingly.
