I was thinking of purchasing a competition .22 and Was wondering if anyone can help with a question i have.
1- Does anyone knows whether a .22 Long Competition Target Rifle with thumbhole stock is considered an "assault weapon" because of the thumbhole ... Or is rimfire totally exempt from this "law" ?

I have been trying to understand the bill as best as possible and was also wondering something for the AR Platform Owners.
I dont have one myself but was wondering if a WELDED MUZZLE BREAK is a feature that would make it an "Assault Weapon" being that it is essentially a non removable item. And cant the AR platform rifle owners just change out the stock (pistol grip) and render it NOT an "Assault Weapon" ?

Thanks in advance for answers..
