I am not sure if this is posted in the right spot, I have a Gew 98 that has a triggerguard that was horsed pretty good when removed from a gun and the metal needs just two small spot welds with a TIG (looks like it was bent down and has two small fissures forward of the magwell yet is not broken or bent).

I do not want to spend a ton since a new Gew98 replacement guard can be found for $25-$30, but I do not expect free work.

Anyone have a particular gunsmith they trust that can take 2 minutes and fix this and their pricing?

Thanks

unless it's some matching serials on the guard, seems like a new one is the play. I mean, we're talking beer money here....
