For Cobray M/11 owners (not PM/11) you likely already know this, but

here is a great product:
FTF Industries: M-11/9 Thread Protector 3/4x10 tpi

For only $10 (+$5-shipping), it screws on, just solder. tack-weld, or whatever so it is on "for good," and you no longer have a threaded barrel--DONE. Just received one today.

Yes it changes the look/profile a little, which sucks, but it is easier than turning down the threads if you do not have the equipment, and you are legal-for now.

You've got time before you have to modify anything. Take it easy and see how things play out before you do anything perminent.

Yes good point, I did not weld anything yet; but I want to have my ducks in a row, so that if we get jammed up like they did in CA and MA, and 8-10 years from now the US Supreme Court claims the [un]Safe Act is "constitutional" I am prepared. I figure $15-shipped is cheap insurance to have on hand, but you are correct hope springs eternal that this law goes down.
