Question about Keeping Permit and Moving to CT

I moved to South Carolina about a year and a half ago. I did not contact my county that issued my permit with my change of address. I did however respond to the notice I got from the NYS troopers, shortly after I moved to update them as it was my 5 year anniversary of my permit. So I completed their paperwork, sent it in with my new SC address, and I got a response that I was all set. That is all I am doing. If the troopers are good with it, I’m happy. I don’t ever see me carrying in NYS any longer as I only visit maybe twice a year and we will be flying back, so of course not carrying. I recently got my concealed carry permit here in SC. The process is you have to take a one day classroom training, take a written test, and then go to the range and shoot 50 rounds at a target to qualify. Instructor said as long as we didn’t aim our pistol at him we would pass the qualification. 😉 I can now carry almost anywhere. Except my church, which is a whole other story.
