I own a Browning buckmark, and a few boxes of CCI bird shot would it harm the gun at all (rifling of the gun ) if I was to fire them? I already understand that the ammo does not cycle through semi autos, thanks for the help.

I wouldn't worry about it damaging the gun. The plastic could theoretically build up in the lands of the rifling but I would think the next solid shot through would flush it out pretty quick. They do have a plastic casing right? If it's the ones I'm thinking about we've fired them through my father's ruger mk1 plenty of times and never noticed any ill effects.
