I'll wait for his explanation. I will say up front that I think he has every right to possess marijuana. The police felt that he wasn't impaired. If he is a closet pot smoker that has opposed marijuana law reform, it does seem hypocritical, but perhaps he was just representing the wishes of prohibitionist constituents.
I hope this isn't used to take away any guns that he may have.
