As the title states, my wife's uncle has been in the hospital for months. At one point he was in a medically induced coma for a while. He never had great lungs (not a smoker) he had mesothelioma since he was younger. When he was on a trip to florida a few months ago he got hit with a bad cold and that really messed with his system. Had a bout with pneumonia that knocked him out even more and eventually had to have a breathing tube put in. His wife is disabled and has been left with having to pay the bills and take care of him while he recovers. He is an avid hunter and shooter, he even offered to take me shooting at his club which I believe is Tonawanda sportsman. I posted about him a few months ago about his handgun ownership if he was too sick to sign them over.

Anyway my wife has been organizing a benefit for him. I'm pasting the information below if anyone would be kind enough to make a donation or buy a ticket and have some beer and good grub.

They are accepting donations Via Paypal and at the door if you want to attend the benefit.

If you are a local business owner or know anyone who may be interested in making a donation for the prize raffle I would really appreciate that as well.

Thanks Guys!

Bump. Someone seems to have made a very generous donation last night. Not sure if it was someone here or not but if it was THANK YOU! My wife should be in contact to see if you want tickets to the benefit or if it was a donation.

Just a quick update. Bill is still unable to eat without a feedng tube but he has been of a ventilator for months. He is slowly getting back to a point where he can eat again. I still wish I could personally thank to one who donated but if you read this thank you.

I'm sorry I missed this. My work would have donated a basket for sure. Sad. I wish the best for him and hopefully he can get back on his feet.
I have a friend in bad shape too. He's only 34 and is in a coma and brain dead. He some how damaged his main artery to his brain. A blood clot was then lodge in his brain. He has 3 young kids under six.
