Okay, so I got my permit last month, and finally decided on my first pistol:

This baby is fun as hell. Eats dirty Blazer .22LR ammo, goes boom every time, and looks like the PP7/silenced PP7 from Goldeneye 007 for the N64. I can't tell you how much fun this thing is for less than $200.
One issue: don't swap the barrels at the range. Or if you do, be REALLY CAREFUL. You will probably lose the recoil spring. I've already had to order a new spring. Aside from that (which was due to my own n00bish stupidity), this thing is SWEET.
I highly recommend it.
