On Sunday at the Springwater match I had the great privilege to use a friend's .222 rem. It's an 80's era factory 40X other than the HS stock. I was also fire forming his hand loads during the match, and I never fired the rifle before. This man had these loads tuned well for that 40X rifle and it is the most accurate rifle I have ever shot to date.
I ended up coming in second place with a 199 33X missing first by .060 of an inch. My first relay I had one out of the X and that was it!!!!!
I also set myself a new 10 shot group record, seem's to a tad under .4 MOA
Me and that 40X were on fire, almost like we were meant for each other,
I'm really sick because that rifle went home with another man
uke:
LOL, that's OK i've still got my .308's to snuggle up too.
