Hi NYFirearms,
Currently I'm living in Lancaster, PA and I'm moving back to Broome County. I was living in Albany County before I moved to PA and I still have my Albany County permit. I called the clerks office and was informed that my permit was still valid, even though I'm living out of state. The clerk informed me that all pistols purchased out of NY need to be transferred via an FFL dealer in PA to an FFL dealer in NY.
I'm going to be transferring my permit from Albany County to Broome County. I was curious what the timeline is for this? If anyone has transferred their permit from another county to Broome, how long did it take?
Thanks for the help/info, it's much appreciated.
