Does OC allow face to face transactions between non-FFL's. I'm selling a gun to an OC resident and he said I needed to send to his FFL. I told him we could do it without an FFL's involvement, which I've done numerous times before, though not to an OC resident.
His FFL says all transactions needed to go thru him ...........at $35 a pop. LOL

If both of you have a NY permit, you can sell face to face. the buyer first has to amend his permit with the pistol you are selling him. Once you receive the purchase coupon from the buyer, you can give him the gun, then you must remove that pistol from your permit. You will need a bill of sale with buyer and seller names, buyer and seller permits numbers then submit that with your amendment papers to have the gun removed from the sellers permit. There is no need to involve an FFL. You cant give the gun to the buyer until he gives you the purchase coupon. Hope that clears things up for you.
