I seem to miss the point of mobile apps for websites. I have no issues accessing various forums, this one included, via my phone's browser. Websites that redirect me to mobile versions tend to tick me off, as I often cannot find what I'm looking for in the scaled-back websites. I live in a 3G-only area for my carrier, so it's not a bandwidth thing. Is it something else that I'm missing? Older phones with tiny screens perhaps? Please enlighten.
