Does anybody have any faith in the demise of the Unsafe acts as it makes its next stop on the way to the SC? I don't understand alot of how they rule ON something as it appears it has nothing to do with right or wrong or common sense for that matter.I know everybody says its going all the way, does this mean the NY appeals ct will not help our cause or are they going
to play hot potatoe like Judge Skertny did?
I still don't understand how they could have ruled in favor of the state as thier is so much evidence and fact on our side unless it really is fixed and corrupt. I really hope thats not the case as that scares me alot more than any AR15. We are talking about law abiding gun owners, the stats dont lie, less 00000.1 % of crimes commited. The police if anything have a worse record of incident yet Cuomo lets them play with all the neat toys. Its so frustrating.

Until you get out of ny fixed and corrupt it is- not to flare racial issues but our fight for gun rights now is the uphill battle the civil rights movement fought in the 60's in Alabama

There are two court systems. Federal and State. The Skretny/NYSR&P case came out of Federal District Court, where it was filed by Choice, and is being appealed to the next level up in the Federal Court System--the 2nd Circuit Ct of Appeals. We live in the 2nd Circuit that includes several Federal Districts, such as Western NY, Northern District of NY, Southern District of NY, etc. The NYS court system is basically the County court followed by the NYS Supreme Court in your locality and then to the NYS Court of Appeals. The Tresmond case was filed in the NYS system, that is deferring to the Federal Case track at this time.

I don't trust any of the courts at this point. State or federal doesn't matter. The cancer that is socialism penetrates at every level.
We are debating our freedom with rabid dogs. We may as well be debating quantum physics with them for the outcome is the same.
They can't put enough trust in government or give their freedom away fast enough.

I know it was filed in Federal court, that makes it worse as its not affiliated with the state and still ruled way against us.I understand a state court would side w/Cuomo, but wht federal? Federal firearms rules are great by NY standards.
