Last night, the Kingsport Board of Mayor and Aldermen met to discuss a variety of new ordinances.** Among these ordinances was one that would make it illegal for persons to carry a firearm in a city park, or any building or facility operated by the city for park or recreational purposes.**

I was just down there about two weeks ago to see family. After reading the article I didn't think the motion would pass as Tennessee is a very gun friendly state, but I'm sure they have some anti-gun loons too.

Also a pistol permit is only required if you want to carry. No permit if you want one for your car or home. A carry also allows you to carry concealed or open. I noticed at least two people that were carrying and they made no attempt to hide the holster that was sticking out their shirt bottom.

Damn, I wish the Peoples Republic of NY was a gun friendly state.
