Now I can finally go pick up my property that has been sitting in my FFL's safe for the past 9 months.

My timeline:
- February, 2013: Called for application submission appointment and took pistol safety course
- June 26, 2013 - Submitted application
- November 30, 2013 - Received approval letter.

Hopefully I can find some time in the next few weeks to go get my restricted (target) permit. Then...I'm off to my FFL to make a few more purchases and fill out a few amendments.

Cheers!

Congrats phazer...

Amendments for purvhases can be made asap.

Amendments for restriction changes is frowned upon if under a year.

That's what I meant...purchase amendments.

I can't wait to see how long those take.

What is the process of removing and replacing a pistol with a new pistol? I have an XDM 45 which I love but the 7 round rule makes me wish now for something smaller since I no longer care about the 10 round capacity. Do I need to sell it first and remove it from my permit, then add another pistol or can it be done at the same time?

Congrats....

My appointment/application date was beginning of July - let's see if I'm a week behind you on the approval letter.
