Dropped off my Non Resident CCW application today. The permit lady was very nice and polite. She told my buddy and I that in two weeks we will get a letter saying to come back and pick up our permits. We got there at 8:50 am (9:00am start time) and the lady took our apps, took photo's and entered the data in the computer. The two of us were in and out in less than 10 mins. Too bad NY can't be like that.

Yea, Jim, the only thing that would have been easier was to do it by mail, but they stopped that a year ago March.

Pike County requires that you have a full carry license from your home state. Centre County issues a LTC to a restricted pistol license holder.

according to this Sheriff, Centre County shouldn't be issuing a NR permit to a restricted pistol license holder...but that's his interpretation i guess.
