Not exactly the same as the assailant would have had a hundred round magazine and shot about a million people before doing a tactical reload, (to save the rounds still in his "clip"), and shot a thousand more.

Just imagine the carnage if we didn't have the SAFE Act! If we didn't have all those new restrictions this would have.... happened exactly the same...
Just imagine if that was in Texas... someone may have returned fire and killed the assailants... and the knowledge that it's possible would have had them go elsewhere... like... uh.... New York. :(

Did that gun go to slide lock after 7 shots? guess he didn't hear about that part getting thrown out. I guess we finally found a law abiding criminal.

And the politicians tell us law abiding citizens what means of personal protection that we can and can not own. And what size mags we can and can not own. And even try to limit us to 7 rounds even in our homes. Where there is a possibility of multiple attackers violently invading a home. Many of these homes have children in them that need to be protected by the best means available.
What about the cheeeeeldren?
Is this whole situation f***ing nuts or what.

If SHTF and these thugs decide to go thru the burbs and into farm country it's game on and it will not end well for them. Out here a lot of us can hit moving targets at distance. unlike the city thugs that can only hit anything standing still and at point blank range.

Does the internet ammo ban stop these things from happening?......................... NO
Does the evil features ban on MSR's stop these things from happening?.......... NO
Does registration of MSR's and handguns stop these things from happening? NO
Does ANYTHING in FUAC's unsafe act stop these things from happening?........ NO

I could go on forever with this so I will end it with this.
What are all these gun control laws about? What is the true purpose?
IMO It's not about public safety that's for sure.

I saw this reported on some facebook page and it said the assailant and the victim were recording a rap video and got in to an argument over who was the star of the video. I don't know how true it is, but wouldn't surprise me if it was over something so trivial.

Bet I'll catch $hit for this. But very surprised, they did not Loot the store on the way out.

I am not sure why people think highlighting post-safe act gun crime does anything beneficial for our cause?
If anything it fuels the anti gun agenda showing the safe act doesn't go far enough.
It shows how completely ineffective these so-called gun control laws truly are. Only the law-abiding gun owner is effected -- the criminals will still use their "illegal" guns and continue to get a wrist slap, plea bargain if/when caught but the LGO will have his life ruined for simply owning a 30-rd magazine or a pistol grip on his AR.

Dailymail is now reporting that these guys were all filming a rap video and the guy who got shot was friends with the shooter. They were arguing over who was the star of the video, so naturally the way to settle that is with murdering the guy. Good way to get street cred, though.

Video shows rapper shoot and pistol-whip his 'best friend' during music video | Mail Online

So now we'll end up with another guy costing tax payers for a few decades, plus his four friends who are now accomplices in this attempted murder (or murder if the vic dies) will spend some years in prison as well. But once they get some prison tats they can make a far more credible rap video, so it will be worth it.
