I was involved in a false IDV case (actually two), the first was outright dismissed, the 2nd the procecutor demanded I go to trial or take a non-criminal Disorderly Conduct and a 2 Year Protective order. (I later found out the police withheld written statements that conflicted from her allegation I was too close to her at my daughter's graduation). I am a white collar professional, and have never raised a hand to a woman or acted violently.

My CCW permit was suspended as part of the protective order. I'm not overly anxious to go right in and ask it back when the protective order expires in the fall.

Am I allowed to possess long arms after the protective order expires if I leave my permit suspended until some additional time passes to not appear over anxious to get it back?
