Hey guys, I just bought a new 6" Ruger GP100 last week, It`s my second handgun and my first revolver.
I love the gun but i have a question.
I ordered a wolf spring kit to reduce the trigger pull in double action. I was telling a customer this at work today and he said that if i intend to use this gun for home protection that it`s not a good idea to alter it due to possible legal troubles if i were ever to use it against an intruder in my home. He said that they would question why i modified the gun. I have no idea about this because i am new to handguns "Got my permit in february"
In all my research about the gun i see that changing the trigger springs is very common with no mention of any leagal issues.
Thanks for any info in advance, Ted.
