Yea I didn't catch that before but if they had to be in the country before the ban took place the preban AK mags would have run dry by now, ALOT of what we get are old west german and bulgarian stuff, they had to be manufactured before the ban, not in the country. Rifles had to be imported before the ban, but rifles are different then magazines.

For that matter, they aren't serialized, how the hell would anyone know if they were imported before or after 94?

If it's old, metal, and no date, it's preban. Doesn't matter if it showed up today or 30 years ago, the burden of proof is on them. If a crate of Chicom mags from '93 shows up tomorrow, there's no way in hell to separate them from the ones that were there in '93.

Meaning, there's a whole lot of mags left for us out there.
