ok, so i never used to watch tv series as i only watched the history channel, discovery, etc... but, for the past year, after we put the little guys to bed the wife and i like to watch a show starting at around 9pm.

we like watching shows on netflix because we can stream it, we can watch a whole season without waiting a week, etc..

it started with watching all the seasons of The Walking Dead... now we are hooked on that show.

then we watched Dexter; man i loved that show but they ended it terribly.

then we watched Lost, great series and good ending imo.

Now we are watching Hell on Wheels, but its only 3 seasons, and we are on the last season with only about 6 episodes left. I think its on TV now so we can pick it up from there.

Now for regular TV:

We are waiting for Homeland to start on Oct. 5th, but thats only once a week.

Vikings is one of my favorite shows (the character Ragnar is actually based on a real viking who happens to be one of my great grandfathers and I have this documented)

We have Falling Skies recorded on the DVR and will start watching those too.

We also watched the first season of Turn, and we will see if it gets a second season.

Any other good series to watch?... I wish Game of Thrones was on Netflix because I heard thats pretty good, I may have to get the DVDs.

My wife loves Sons of Anarchy and she is all caught up on that so im not going to bother trying to catch up, and she is all caught up on Breaking Bad so I wont bother with that one either.

Im not real interested in Madmen, or House of Cards either...

My wife and I went through all the seasons of Burn Notice on DVD. I thought it was an entertaining show. No idea if it's available on Netflix.

Have you watched Chuck? Not as serious as the other shows you mentioned, but a lot of fun.

House M.D., Jericho, Lie to Me, Bones, Breaking Bad, Whitecollar.

You should like at least one of those I would think.
I forgot to mention Jericho... we watched that too. I really enjoy dystopian shows/films..

The wife used to watch house as shes a nurse, but I never cared for it.

Blacklist is a good show too but they are about to start second season so their aren't a lot of episodes yet.

Not sure if you like SciFi or not but if you do then Stargate would be a good show. They have a few movies plus a ton of episodes and a few off shoot series as well.

Scooby Doo and Friends?

Nevermind, Ever see "Firefly"? Sci-fi.

For a comedy, (dramady?) FX's "Louie" about Louie C.K. Is pretty good...

Breaking Bad (the entire show start to finish) is now on netflix and probably one of the best shows I have watched.

House of cards because it's fun to watch (for whatever reason) what a slimeball POS liberal Kevin Spacy portrays.

Orange is the new black is ok as well.

Celt, are you looking only for current or recent TV shows, or would you be willing to consider a "classic."

I was a big X-Files fan back in the day, (the first 5 seasons were really good, went downhill after that) but I'm not sure it's on netflix streaming.

If you like Walking Dead, you need to watch The Strain on FX. It's a great show to pass the time till Walking Dead comes back on (ironically, the season finale is at the end of this month). It's on Sundays at 10pm.

Turn is getting a second season and sons of liberty will be on this fall as well on the history channel. Sons or anarchy is a great show along with bones and big bang theory. Good luck to ya!

A lot of the shows on USA Network are good. Burn Notice, Suits, Covert Affairs, Psych.
