Can I shoot a 38 pistol on my own land? Backstop would be steep wooded hill. Distance would be short 7-10 yards.

I do have some neighbors, but it is pretty rural here, only house I would be near is my own.

This and be sure your town doesn’t prohibit the discharge of firearms. Sounds like you’re rural so that’s likely not the case but a few towns by me ban the discharge altogether.
