i just wanted to show of my collection.

and this gun i did all the mods myself. The 91/30 i bought as is from some guy.

some of the mods you guys posted are wicked. Demerson, are you a machinist?
Sweet friggin collection! I've got only one, but I'll damn sure get a couple more! I want one that I don't want to touch at all (100% matching parts), the one I have now is my deer hunter rifle, and I want one to just shoot for fun, corrosive ammo/bulk/surplus, whatever. Lol. Ya know, gotta cover cheap fun and have serious fun :)

Start an account at Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket then upload your pictures. After you upload them you hover over the pictures and a little window pops up, then you click on the img window and it will save it to your memory then in the window on this website right click and select paste. You will see an html code pop up. It will post the picurea nice and big for you!

Also im glad you enjoyed my collection, I enjoy these guns a lot! I think I have about $350 into the most moded M44. I did the mamachining myself. ;)

Sweet! Thanks for the tutorial on picture posting, lol. But yeah, I do love your collection, I'm into the Nagants as well. I went on leave during August during mid-tour and my buddy ordered one to his FFL, the lady there decided to order a few since they were cheap. I picked one up just for the sake of going shooting with my buddy. It created my Mosin addiction as well as firearms in general. I love them. lol. But I've been looking into buying another one, or two. Saw a couple on GunBroker, one had an ATI on it already. I think I've invested a total of $430 in my Mosin if you include buying the gun itself too. Well worth it in my opinion. Works the same as any other deer rifle, accurate and powerful. Cheaper for what it can do though! And you did the bolt work yourself? Might have to see if I can send one your way if I get another rifle... lol

If you are looking for an investment nagant to leave alone, look for a rare variant. A hex Tula is not that rare, and the prices are not a whole lot more than the lessers. If you are seriously looking into collecting nagants and have the coin, look for a Finnish nagant, or a WWI era, or odd manufacturer like remington, westinghouse, chatellerault, spanish civi war, etc. Go to guide is 7.62x54R.net if you want to collect mosins. Beautiful guns, tough as an AK, and light on the pocket to collect. Good luck to ya.

Yeah those CBRPS people have some sweet stuff. I was just looking at them. I watched some videos though, looked like you have to load one round at a time... not sure I like the single shot/reload type deal. Hopefully that was a prototype if anything.

A lot of people say that, but hey, we are just making a good rifle, better. At least it's still being used rather than sitting in a closet or gun cabinet being neglected :)

An SKS isn't bolt action... Therefore, for my bolt action modding, I must use a Mosin-Nagant :)

If modding a rifle is what gives you enjoyment out of it, then I say mod the thing until it cant be modified any more! Heck its a mosin nagant its not a collectors item and probably never will be especially with the huge amount of people collecting them hoping they will go up in value.

I agree with the modding! There are plenty more Mosins to go around lol. But, I do think eventually in value they can go up... Like the Finnish models, I did some research on their value as well as the PU Scoped (original) Mosins. :)

If you have the coin, get an authentic Vasily Zaytsev type PU sniper mosin. They are a thing of beauty.
Dude you aren't kidding. Lol. I saw one when I was doing some research and I loved it. EXPENSIVE as hell, but amazing.
