Well saturday I recieved my carry permit for Monroe County after 5 1/2 months. I couldn't believe when the sheriff called just short of four months and seven weeks after that call it arrived. Did some shopping today and should have my first pistol tomorrow and another early next week.

I submitted mine the end of September and got the call from the Sheriff Dec 23rd which was a 3 month wait for me. Hopefully 6-7 weeks i'll have mine which will put it right at the 5 month mark.

So far a Glock G30 with night sights and a Smith & Wesson M&P 340CT. Working on finding an all Black Kahr arms PM45 with night sights also.

Congrats. I thought mine came quick at 7 months. I think they have definitely added deputies to permit duty. If you get the GLOCK join GSSF and you can get one at LE prices. I saved at least $100 on my G19 that way.

Congrats on your permit, I just dont get Monroe County and how they process them. I was 8 months out until the sheriff called and now it has been on the judges desk for 8 weeks.

I am starting to look really weird breaking in my m-tac around the house without a pistol in it.

you beat me i turned mine in, around the begining of august and they called me 4 weeks ago its not in yet and i kinda need it before i get back to NY in like 12 days haha
