Does anyone enforce the 3 bump rule in the marketplace? Or is this just BS? Asking because I am seeing multiple threads in marketplace that have 3+ sometimes 8+ bumps -

Can I bump my thread w/o risk of being locked?

I think there should be no bumps at all,only price drops in $25 increments!No one buys it when you list it they aint going to buy it at all IMO (most likely cause they listed it to high).I mean some of these prices I have been seeing lately are retail for new or even higher!

Personally I don't see the problem with bumping your FS but then again, it's not my forum. I'm a big boy and can pass looking at a FS add that I've seen before....

I thought I read somewhere "1 bump per day"...$25 dollars could be a problem if you're only listing a $30 item. Percentage price drop?

Edit: Marketplace Rules: 7. Do not "bump" your thread to the top of the forum more than once every 3 days. Once you bump it 3 times, that's it

Re-read the rules. That was tried and eventually removed. The 1 per day rule is in effect. If we missed removing it somewhere (the rules are in several places) please let me know where.

Yea I agree!Well my way will get the higher priced sellers to limit the bumps or at least get the product in a price range that it might sell.But then again they may just list it $100 more to figure in 4 bumps,really do not see anyway around it.Cause some seem to just wanna make huge profits,and I really don't think it should be used as a retail store but that's just my opinion...

I must be losing my mind. I swore I changed it but I guess I forgot.

Anyhow, no rule for how many times you can bump your FS thread but you can only do it once every 3 days. Sorry for mis-speaking above... it's every 3 days, not every day.
