Using this regional map New York State Regions Map and Counties Maps Visitors Guide to break down the state please vote on your region.

I voted region 9 (Hudson Valley) , but according that map Ulster Co. is in Region 8 (catskills). I have never heard anyone not refer to this area as the Hudson Valley though. Granted, I'm on the southeast corner, basically touching Reg. 9.

Mine was weird too. I don't agree this is the Central Leatherstocking. I've always known this as the Capitol Region.

I just used a map link of nys regions. I never heard of leather stock either lol
but it isn't perfect but close enough.
