For goodness sakes to all you guys who have not read I was already asked this by one member here and I stated yes I filled out all the necessary forms that needed to be done when I was at the County Clerks Office and just to make you all happy it was the form that is used to do the NICS check and for your info it was yes the it was the 4473 form,I really did not no the number on the form I just knew there is yes and no question along with all the basic info like where you live, born, height, weight, nationality etc....

I have had my permit for over 22 years and have had numerous pistols on my permit do you think for once I do not know that these forms have to be filled out..

Absolutely not I do everything by the books especially pistols, the only thing I have ever sold with out a NICS check and that would be a rifle and that was way before the unSafeact even took place..as you could do private transfer for rifles back then with out having to have a NICS check..

That is ok not every county is the same or does this as far as I know,I just happened to find out this my self in my county not to long ago and it works out kind of nice if your buying a pistol from another person who has a permit in the same county as you live in..it saves you some money on transfer fee as some places can charge you anywhere between $25 all the way to $75 for a transfer fee..

So you filled these forms out on the day you took possession of the revolver, or are you talking about when you applied for your pistol permit?

When did we get so many lawyers on this forum?! Obviously ranger's clerk does it better than ours and why are we badgering him for it? Maybe y'all should start harassing your clerk like you are him. Sweet deal ranger! Put a couple rounds through her for me!
