I was shooting my PX4 that day, but we're evaluating new guns right now and will be transitioning at the end of the summer/beginning of fall this year.... Being evaluated right now are:

M&P 45, both 4.0" and 4.5" barrels and both with/without manual external safety
Glock 21 and Glock 30

I MUCH prefer the striker fired pistols like the M&P or Glock that the DA/SA setup of the PX4.
I'll keep you posted on what we go with, but either way it's a step up from the PX4.

I heard this the other day and thought the guy was full of crap. I am surprised they are switching so quickly. I hope you get the M&P's like you were supposed to last time...
