I was wondering if anyone knew of ranges that held F-Class events in south eastern NY (or about 2 hours from my area)? I wanted to get started in competition shooting but I'm not really sure where to look for events. The only place I know of that has competitive shoots are 3 gun shoots which I can't compete in until I get my pistol permit.

Contact and ask it they'd allow you to shoot alongside the highpower/palma shooters.

I think there used be something on Camp Smith.... Not sure if its still running. I think I saw it announced through NYSRPA. It's been a cpl years though.

I believe the Canastota conservation club shoots F class comps. Not sure if it's within ur 2 hour radius. It's about 40 min from Syracuse.
