looking for some decently priced ammo that i can keep on hand just in case **** hits the fan. Im thinking about picking up hornady steel match, since i dont plan on reloading. Any one have other suggestions i should look in to?

If you have no plans to reload that would be the least expensive route and the Hornady 75BTHP will shoot in a 1 in 9 twist. If your going to need venison or pork, you might want to try Winchesters 64 grain Razor Back. Federal makes the 62 grain Fusion and Nosler's 60 grain Partition is used in their Vital Shock. I will buy or swap for your brass if you save it.

Dunno what the going rate is around your house, but where I am, anything under 43~45 cents a round is a deal.

its about the same around here, unless i pick up in bulk and even then its still kinda pricey.
