My father gifted me his M1 Garand a few years ago. He is no longer able to enjoy this so we took it to the range as he wanted to hear it once again. I let it rip about 100 rounds or so. It was a blast to shoot to say the least based on the shi* eatin grin on my face when the clip ejected and bounced off my head. So it sits in the case ever since. I don't believe my father shot this much either. Looking to see what it may be worth as I'm cosider selling. Appreciate any opinions on this..range fun!

Looks fairly nice. I’d look up the serial number and see if there are any special markings or stamps on it then see what they are going for on gun broker. Was it from the CMP? They normally got for around $1,300-1,400, but some can be much more valuable. I’m no expert on these.

@Ron Ny, Rifle looks dry in pictures. Lube it good before you ruin it…
