I know this is a NY based forum, but this one caught my attention. It is related to the shooting death of an officer in Mass. during a domestic.

Police Officer Kevin Ambrose, Springfield Police Department, Massachusetts

The article noted that Ofc. Ambrose had been with the department for 36 years! Prior to that, he was a cadet for two years.
That is incredible.

No matter where a LEO is from, when their life is taken in the line of duty it hits all caring and law abiding people. God bless Officer Ambrose and his family. RIP

The subject then opened the door, shot him again, and then shot the woman, wounding her. He then fled to his car where he committed suicide.

He shot a woman and then killed himself. What a class act.

I saw that..... An older guy to still be on patrol and I dont know why he did not retire out... I feel for him and his family.... Oh and the shooter... A corrections officer who violated an Order of Protection....
