Son got his unrestricted permit today, roughly 2 1/2 weeks on the calendar from the day he dropped his paperwork off. Sheriff John York, his staff, and Judge Dennis Cohen do a thorough job, but don't screw around with the right to be a responsible handgun owner. They expect you to play by the rules, and are quick to make sure you do, but they simply don't play politics here as far as 2nd Amendment stuff goes.
